MIL – Autogas Division is a leading manufacturer of Alternate Fuel Systems, headquartered in Manesar, Haryana. In 2009, a joint venture company Minda Emer Technologies Ltd. was formed to leverage the technology from one of the leading manufacturers of Alternate Fuel Syatems Emer S.p.a. of Japan.
Since 2001, the company has been manufacturing and developing Alternate Fuel Systems – CNG and LPG kits for OEMs and Aftermarket in India. It is the only Tier 1 company to localize AFS components for Indian Market. It has handled major Commercial Vehicle projects with Tata Motors & Ashok Leyland for CNG Systems. These were incorporated in Buses for Public Transport Systems in Delhi & Mumbai. The company supplied 85,000 kits of LPG /CNG systems to Bajaj Auto since August ’05 and integrated 125,000 kits at Maruti Suzuki for Wagon R.
The company signed a Joint Venture with Emer, Italy on 24th Sept, 2009.
TToday, the company has a vision to be a preferred supplier of AFS parts/ systems to the Indian OEMs and Aftermarkets. It envisions becoming INR 1000 million company by 2020-2021.
This ISO/TS 16949:2002 certified company has launched its CNG kit in Delhi and Gujarat aftermarkets with plans to cover more states across India in the coming months.
This is the only Company in India with local manufacturing facilities to offer products at competitive prices and a supplier to major OEM customers in India such as Maruti Suzuki, TATA, TOYOTA, BAJAJ, TVS and Honda Power Products.
